A hiking holiday as individual as our guests

Over the hill and dale. From the All-Suite Resort up to the mountain summits. Begin your hiking adventure on the doorstep of your holiday home. Wander across blooming alpine meadows, make your way along panoramic ridges, and take a break at one of the rustic mountain huts or at the summit. There are plenty of reasons why Kühtai was awarded the Tyrolean quality seal for hiking and mountaineering. Whether you prefer a challenging high route, a hike along the local reservoir, a panoramic ride on the Drei-Seen-Bahn lift or a peaceful stroll along the Knappenweg trail, you decide how far, how high, and how adventurous your hiking trip in Kühtai will be.

Granite dreams in Kühtai

Let’s go higher and steeper and discover the region from a new perspective. With the Stubai Alps and the Ötztal Alps in reach, you can explore amazing climbing. One of the most recommended climbing trips is on the Pockkogel via ferrata, which takes you to the summit in two sections. Experienced climbers may choose the route along the exposed north flank, starting at the Drei-Seen-Bahn mountain station. The via ferrata is rated level C+, D, and E and requires sure-footedness and good stamina. Rent your gear at the Drei-Seen-Bahn lift station. At the top, you’ll be rewarded with striking views across the country. Want to get in a little practice first? Take advantage of the indoor and outdoor climbing facilities in Kühtai.

Put the pedal to the metal

Whether you enjoy getting your calves burning or would rather have some electric support pedalling up the mountains, Kühtai has plenty to discover from the saddle of your bike. Take in impressive natural scenery, heaps of sunshine, and traditional mountain cuisine in one of the rustic huts. The local mountain lifts take you and your bike up to high alpine mountain bike adventures. Or, if you prefer to go flat out on your road bike, you can take on the Kühtai Rodeo challenge to get your blood pumping and your heart racing. There’s nothing quite like racing along the smooth roads of this fascinating region.

The many faces of summer

The possibilities in Kühtai are as diverse as our guests. However, each of the different experiences have one thing in common, and that’s the breathtaking views. Choose from a variety of routes for your Nordic walking or trail running adventure, regardless your fitness level, or explore the region from the saddle of Icelandic horses, which are known for their sure-footedness. If you are an athlete looking to improve your performance, a visit to the local High Altitude Training Centre is a great idea.
